I had a flat tire on a run flat tire on my 2014 C7. I made an appointment, came in to have the inside of the tire inspected to make sure that the tire was safe to continue using. I told the customer service guy at the desk, that there was also several cans of fix a flat in the tire, and that I had driven approx. 80 miles on it as well. there was also a loose nut on the valve stem that I had hand tightened, part of the TPMS I believe. The tire was visually inspected from the outside, and not taken off the wheel. I was told the tire looked fine...from the outside, not what I wanted. I was told that a new TPMS was being ordered and Parkers would call when it arrived. two days later I received a call stating just that. I was told that the earliest that I could get it taken care of was the following Friday. It had already been two weeks. Frustrated, I took the car to the local Goodyear Dealer. I had no appointment. The tire was removed from the wheel and both the tire and wheel were inspected, the fix a flat glue was cleaned from both and the TPMS was rebuilt...in less than 1 hour. I was charged $40.00, I tipped the tech another $20.00. the following day I went to Parkers to settle my bill for the initial visit and was also charged for the "special order" of the TPMS.My total at Parkers was $80.00, for nothing. I have always taken my car to the dealer service since I purchased it in 2014, even after the warranty ended. I may not return.
